War with Iran will cause our economy to collapse if the dollar doesnt collapse first.
That’s true, but only half true. You have to recognize the ideology behind the war hawks too. It seems like a mix of Trotskyism and fascism, as the neocons have their roots in 1950s university Trotskyism, which basically calls for world domination by one super power. That’s why they’re encircling Russia and China, which was one of the main benefits of invading Iraq, Afghanistan, and crossing operations into Pakistan.
Iran will be next.
70% of the world’s weapons are made in the US so if you are a weapons maker this is good business but you need an enemy real or perceived to use the weapons on. Can’t keep all that inventory. Gotta use it. That is what’s driving US foreign policy. Big business wanting perpetual war for their own profit. Peace is no good for business.

There’s many many things wrong with the Venus project, as well intentioned as it may be. You hit on just one. But I agree with you completely.

It sounds like you are discrediting it, in your mind and on here, without even looking at their problems/solutions on the website. Your questions with their system have been answered on their website.
We could make this system work, which we have now, but it would inherently be corrupt from the get-go, and I know we can design a better system then that. The venus project at least has many answers to start with.
The Venus project has no structure. The venus project also removes nations, It wont work. Also, someone has to build these projects while the venus project states that “technology will take care of us”. Well, then who will build the technology machines? It’s nonsense.
You need a government that protects indvidual liberty. Period.
I personally suggest that we replace our current government, which is inherently corrupt, with The Venus Project’s system.
It’s worth a try and it’s something completely different than anything we have tried, to date. I have faith that it can work, and that it can work a lot better than the system which we have today – or have ever seen before.

Thank you Ron for specifically voicing the idea that when a collapse occurs we will have an opportunity to choose what WE want in place of the failed structure.
We don’t have to be corralled by our Government. We don’t have to accept some goofy new world fiat currency. Switching from what we have to a more powerful version of what we have (while sacrificing our sovereignty) would be insane, and there IS another option.
This is the most important point to be made, and it needs to be made often.

I agree with you on your view points on this. But private personnel sent to Iraq get paid 10 times more than a Soldier but that private personnel get absolutely no veterans benefits if he is wounded or killed. And they are mostly ex-law enforcement officers who are essentially there to police communities and security escorts.
