My family had a gold trade shop in 1999. It was a so trouble times here in Brazil that some days we have to just stop trading. The gold was dropping like 10% in minutes and we didn’t have internet at that time. Everything was made by phone and the risk of a big lost were prohibitive. So we just have to close the shop and wait sometimes. Other impact was that some gold mines were close because they became not profitable.
