Credit:urWURLDnow www.youtube.com After insisting once again that there is a consensus on Man-made Global Warming (while paradoxically comparing those not in consensus with those who deny the moon landing), Al Gore denies, downplays and refuses to discuss the role that CEOs played in crafting his Cap-and-Trade C02 trading schemes. Rep. Scalise points out that Gore met with Ken Lay, of ENRON-fraud fame circa 1998, as well as top members of Goldman Sachs– all of which Al Gore obscures and denies. In point of fact, Al Gore’s founding partner in the sustainability-investment firm Generation Investment Management, LLC is none other than David Blood, CEO of Goldman Sachs’ asset-management division until 2003. Gore-Blood founding their Carbon-trading Corp. in 2004. www.generationim.com Although Gore refuses to address the issue, Rep. Scalise makes a direct point in the fact that many of the people and associated firms that caused our current and widespread economic crisis were involved in developing this and other related proposals. How then, could such people be trusted? Gore’s only response is to question whether Scalise means to consider him ‘guilty by association.

@jordanleonabell Don’t worry, if we fuck with mother nature long enough, she’ll counteract the harmful effects somehow.
@jordanleonabell I’m pretty sure that taxing is not the same thing as preventing Gore, the earth doesn’t give a shit about your money.
The earth laughs at us for thinking that we can actually make an impact large enough to CAUSE global warming. Yeah, we pollute a shit ton, but the amount that our pollution “speeds up” global warming is a miniscule sliver in the big picture, the changes our earth goes through that we haven’t even been here long enough to document. Uh, there’s tropical fossils in Alaska. Duh. Oh wait a minute, it was about money in the first place Gore, nevermind, it’s not even about this, my bad, toodle-oo!
It would be funny if Al Gore was right the whole time….lol
Watch Gore squirm and turn red-faced as he LIES and has to hear the TRUTH!
You are a carbon based life form. If you don’t like carbon then kill yourself and save the planet Al gore.
what a lying bastard
Carbon is not pollution , period ! Gore’s and the green rhetoric is tragic
You mean Al Gore Caught lying again!!
Key word that Mr. Bore keeps saying is OPINION. No facts. Notice Al is stammering worse than Mel Tillis all of a sudden. Liar, liar, your money is on fire.
If we can hang Saddam, we can probably crucify Gore. Any takers?
@BBCater If you agree pollution from fossil fuels is bad for our atmosphere, wouldn’t your logic allow you to realise, tax incentives to stop that pollution is a good thing. Carbon credits can and will be misused by humanities greed, but the ideology is sound. Polluters pay, non polluters DON’T pay. Obviously industries that are heavy polluters, try to cling on to there ‘dirty cash’. We can all choose to buy clean renewable energy.
@BBCater Unfortunately your wrong, there are some twisted people that actually propose pollution from burning fossil fuels is good for the planet. However nonsensical, it’s regrettably true. It doesn’t take a genius to realise fossil fuel profiteers try to spout this sort of propaganda and some people are so easily led, they believe it. Americans are intelligent enough to embrace non polluting technology…. Aren’t they?
@kaieteurdevon There’s “Big Oil”, and there’s “Big Al”. Big Al is far more dangerous, because what he seeks to do is to enslave you into his own PRIVATE CORPORATION, where he – conveniently – gets to decide how much carbon is “enough”, and how many “credits” you can pay HIM for. Keep in mind – when you buy those credits, it doesn’t reduce an INCH of pollution – you just PAY for the right to pollute, and he gets the money.
Wake the f-ck up. You aren’t this stupid – you really aren’t.
@kaieteurdevon NOBODY is saying “pollution – is good for the planet”. Only YOU posted that nonsense. How can a “grown human or even a child” draw that conclusion as an alternative to FACTUAL DEBATE? YOUR arguments are purely rhetorical. Disagree – and be dismissed as “wanting catastrophe”. Can’t you even SEE how brainwashed you are? It’s patently ridiculous. Stop being a zealot. Your “leaders” are only interested in CASH – at YOUR expense. Enough already.
ahhh, lets not forget the IPCC ClimateGate e-mails and the hockey stick hoax

@properwired Some people are so easily led and speak such twaddle! I find it hard to comprehend how a grown human or even a child, can be persuaded pollution from burning fossil fuels is good for the planet. I mean any basic awareness of what comes out of the exhaust from a petrol engine or the chimney of a coal power station will know breathing it in isn’t advised. Its poisonous, its pollution.
Carry on singing the mantra of large fossil fuel companies “They call it pollution we call it life”
@kaieteurdevon Ok since when is CO2 pollution is O2 pollution as well your one of those wacky people who runs about with a sign the world will end in a week.
Look dummy its getting colder temp always changes and your fake religion has already been exposed as a tax scam
@AfuaRichardson Pollution from fossil fuels damage our atmosphere, that much is obvious. You are right to be suspicious about ‘carbon trading’ because so many humans are driving by greed, trading in anything leads on to corruption. Fossil fuel companies have much profits to loose paying for there pollution, so obviously they foggy the waters with misinformation. Carbon trading is to persuade companies that pollution doesn’t pay dividends.
@properwired Trying to make sense of your dribble about donkeys, mars and ice caps!?!
Pollution from billions of humans burning fossil fuels is obviously damaging our environment; anyone with at least half a working brain can comprehend that. Unless you were to believe the hype paid and created by Big oil propaganda that pollution from fossil fuels is actually good for the planet watch?v=0_VmMIbWKoo Some people are easily persuaded by nonsensical misinformation.
@kaieteurdevon and you have to evolve from thinking air is pollution plants breath co2 you fucking brainwashed dullard, the sun changes the climate you donkey did man change the temp on Mars wow we have a fool here who thinks man made co2 was melting ice caps on mars
@kaieteurdevon That’s just it. they are saying CARBON is what is causing warming. Then that was thrown out and its now causing cooling? Its a psudo science. Its a trading scheme. The sad thing is he offers this like its a solution. When those companies who are dumping. causing toxic environments and polluting are going unchecked. They’ve hijacked a good cause and it appears to be saving things BUT when companies like Goldman sacks run it. THEY own all the credits and sell them…
Get a grip America. Fossil fuels cause pollution, it’s not rocket science! Let’s ALL move on and harness our energy from more intelligent clean renewable energy sources, then there is no carbon tax! We have to evolve from the caveman attitude of burn everything…..
Typical liberal, anyone that doesn’t agree with my point of view is a shill or a crackpot, and thus their opinions are invalid.
