@pretorious700 Wooo there cowboy, did i say that? Or did I say moderate inflation is good for our economy? We are at 2% inflation, we should be around 4% but the inflationistas are pushing public policy in the wrong direction.
To be honest this guy seems to be spouting lazy, specious half-truths. I can’t say its all bad. It’s refreshing to see someone not afriad to push some political and econmic boundaries. However the reason the people that really know whats going on do not talk the way he does; is because these issues are often too complex to form such one sided opinions on. This is why he gets ripped in debates.

The austerity protesters are people who used to profit alot from my stolen 50% income theft by the state. Now I should feel sorry for them ? I’ve been living austerity for freaking ever…

I remember that there have been times when very very rich people did pretty much exactly that. Dumped a ton of their personal wealth into the economy and just said “have a nice day”.
Its far from the norm.
@wikifacts 100% agree. Our Prime Minister David Cameron comes from a very elite family. Young people can not afford to go to Uni because of hikes in tuition fees and our schools and library’s are bieng closed across the country, plus because of austerity taxes go up and jobs get cut.

The Russians want us to stop printing money because it hurts their economy not ours…
What about complaints from other countries that they’re suffering inflation because we’re printing too much money? (Vladimir Putin has gone so far as to accuse America of “hooliganism.”) The flip answer is, Not our problem, fellas.
That is my point. In the USA we do what is best for our economy, not what is best for the Russian economy.

I think the wealth of the elite is becoming counter productive.
I think that when you have 1trillion times more than what you can possibly ever use, giving back half leaves you with 500Billion times more than you can possible use… Makes me wonder why the ultra wealthy are not buying out the recession/depression out of their personal accounts.

@wikifacts We did but our Government has brought in austerity measures so the lower stratum and the middle class are bieng hit hard here. You might remember the student riots in London back in December? Inflation is going through the roof and young people are getting pissed off. I agree with you on Jobs but I buy gold and silver to protect my saveings from inflation.
@withnielandi Lots of people in the lower stratum of income have always been on food stamps. This isn’t new. People on food stamps eat food… haha. Not the stamps. Its a program that guarantees none go hungry. Does your country have something like that? I think this year is the highest in a while, but its also the highest population we have had combined with a recession/depression. I’m glad its there for anyone who needs it.. People need jobs not silver. I’m optimistic.
